I really enjoyed hearing Jerrid Kalakay talk about his journey from business into teaching and mentoring future social entrepreneurs. His perspective on using innovation and AI to make a positive impact was inspiring. What stood out most was his view on failure as part of the learning process, not the end. It was a great reminder that setbacks are really opportunities to grow and keep moving forward.

I thought it was really cool hearing Jerrid Kalakay talk about his journey from the business world to teaching and helping the next generation of social entrepreneurs. I especially liked his take on how innovation—and even AI—can be used to make a positive impact in communities.

I really enjoy listening to the part about how failure doesn’t mean the end of it but rather an opportunity to learn and build your way up and is something interesting because it’s like everyone used to have the mentality that failure is ok, but still we reach an age that we think the opposite of it, and with Jerri Kalaskay’s story, it just shows that there’s no such thing as failure but rather more to learn and find ways to keep learning.
