Today’s guest on The Intern Whisperer is Juan Rivera, game developer, #innovator, and #visionary that works at the Melrose Center at the Orlando Public Library. I originally met Juan when participating at OMG Labs and Indienomicon #GameJams. I am so happy to have this opportunity to get to know him on a more candid level. Three big takeaways I want to share with our listening audience were: 
 
He had an idea to create a tablet device like the iPad before it was invented to share comics. 
When asked about the ethical dilemmas about the future he shared he believes it would be the ability to interact with other humans would be traded for the convenience to work  remotely, live a digital lifestyle, and isolate people more from one another.

Arlene Blake is the founder and Executive Director of Women on the Rise. This organization helps women to strive for excellence. Women On The Rise was formed with the purpose of providing educational and motivational events for women, with a focus on our four pillars: women’s financial literacy, career development, entrepreneurship, and personal wellness. During our interview, I asked what she is most grateful for. Her response is a sobering reminder to be grateful for life. She "watched life exit from a person and their fight for life. and realised how much she appreciates every single breath."

Patti Brownsord is today’s Intern Whisperer guest. What do you think of when you hear the career path - Data Analytics. Something that sounds uninspiring or dry? Patti is nothing like that at all. She is funny, quirky, and smart (Three of her five words by the way). I met Patti at a networking event and overheard her mention that she is the Chair of the UCF Data Analytics Advisory Board. I asked her “Where can I sign up to join?” Data analytics are some of the top trending career paths of the future and I was so happy to see a woman in this field. What was even better, is that Patti is really funny. Tune into the show to learn how she got started in data analytics before it was a thing. I also loved the quote she shared that gives her inspiration. “I am still learning.” On the show, we thought this was passed on by Michaelangelo.
